ALBANY, N.Y. (WNYT)- The National Weather Service (NWS) Albany confirmed that a tornado touched down in Wilton on Thursday, August 27 while strong storms rolled through the Capital Region.
“The survey team continues to work with emergency management to evaluate the damage and additional information about the tornado strength and path will be released after the storm survey has been completed,” the report at weather.gov said.
