Gun found after fatal shootout outside White House linked to Garfield Heights man, feds say

CLEVELAND, Ohio — A Garfield Heights man sold a gun that ended up in the hands of a Maryland man who died in a gunfight with U.S. Secret Service agents outside the White House earlier this year, federal prosecutors say.

Cylinntheo Yates is accused of lying to authorities about what happened to the gun after he bought it in 2022, according to court records.
