A deadly fire ripped through a Bronx apartment building in the early morning hours, leaving one man dead and 10 others hurt, including four firefighters who battled the flames.
The fire broke out a little before 8 a.m. on Montgomery Avenue, between 174th and 175th streets in the West Bronx. It quickly spread beyond the apartment where it began, reaching neighboring units and the floors above.
