Two people arrested following drug bust in Ohio

OHIO — A wanted man and a wanted pregnant woman were encountered during a traffic stop in Middleburg Heights, where police also discovered suspected drugs and drug paraphernalia inside a pickup truck, according to authorities.

Police said officers on patrol around 3 p.m. June 1 noticed a Ford F-150 parked at a Speedway gas station on Bagley Road with an expired temporary registration tag. After the driver left the parking lot and turned onto Rosbough Drive, officers initiated a traffic stop.

Investigators determined the 31-year-old driver, an Oberlin man, was wanted by authorities in Portage County. A 31-year-old Brooklyn woman riding in the truck was also found to have an outstanding warrant from Fairview Park…
