LATHAM, N.Y. (NEWS10) — A discount supermarket chain is planning to open a new store in Latham this year. ALDI will be located at 829 Loudon Road.

The new store was first proposed in 2024. The 3.5-acre site was previously the location of a hotel with an attached restaurant and sits next to La Quinta Inn & Suites and Latham Fire Department Station 1.
ALDI Regional Vice President told NEWS10 that they have not yet set a grand opening date. However, the company expects that the new store will open its doors by the end of the year.
