GREEN ISLAND, N.Y. (WNYT)- Green Island police are reminding residents that dirt bikes, ATVs and other off-road vehicles are not allowed on village streets.
The Green Island Police Department said unauthorized off-road motorized vehicles are prohibited on village streets because they are not designed or registered for roadway use. The department said those vehicles pose a safety risk to drivers, pedestrians and the people operating them.
