ALBANY — A bloodhound that worked for the Albany County Sheriff’s Office was found dead Sunday morning shortly after law enforcement asked the public for help finding her.
Sheriff Craig Apple posted on social media shortly before 8 a.m. that the police K9, Casey, had been found dead in a median on the Thruway.
He said it appeared the dog had been hit by a car and “tragically left at the scene.”…
