A University at Albany student was killed in a motorcycle crash Sunday evening on Long Island, a university spokeswoman confirmed Tuesday.
Dario Marsalek, 19, of Astoria, was headed north on the Wantagh State Parkway around 5:05 p.m. when he struck a guardrail just south of the Goose Neck Bridge, according to State Police. He and a passenger were ejected from the motorcycle, the passenger landing on a grassy area by the shoulder and Marsalek on the road.
The two were brought to the hospital, where Marsalek was pronounced dead, troopers said. The passenger remained in critical condition Tuesday…
