CLIFTON PARK, N.Y. (NEWS10) — Chicken Salad Chick, a Southern fast-casual restaurant chain, is opening its first New York location. The eatery is set to open at 5 Southside Drive in Clifton Park on Tuesday, September 22 at 10 a.m.

The chain announced in April that is would be opening locations in upstate New York, including in the Albany, Buffalo, Rochester, Syracuse, and upper Hudson Valley markets. According to the Chicken Salad Chick website, the Clifton Park location is the first one to open in the state.
The Chicken Salad Chick menu includes several chicken salad options including classic, buffalo, cranberry, lemon basil and more, and can be ordered in scoops or on a sandwich. Sides include broccoli salad, fresh fruit, grape salad and pasta salad. Soups and mac and cheese are also available. You can view the full menu on the Chicken Salad Chick website.

According to the Chicken Salad Chick Facebook page for Clifton Park, the first 100 guests in line on opening day will win free chicken salad for a year. There will also be giveaways all week long to celebrate the grand opening.
