Here is your latest StormTracker forecast from meteorologist Alyssa Caroprese.
A large storm system across the eastern half of the country will continue to bring unsettled weather to the region this Memorial Day weekend. Rain will continue advancing north and east through the evening hours, eventually overspreading all locations, with on/off rain expected to continue overnight. It’ll be a bit chilly, especially since we’ll be wet, with lows in the middle to upper 40s.
The rain will turn steady again before daybreak tomorrow. Unfortunately, the day will be a washout with a light to moderate rain developing most of the day. By late afternoon and early evening the rain will start pushing east and we’ll catch a little bit of dry time through the first half of the night.
Another batch of rain will come in for Memorial Day, again prior to daybreak. We’ll stay wet through about mid morning before showers push out of the region. The second half of Memorial Day will bring improving conditions – we’ll be dry with still lots of clouds but possibly a few breaks developing late in the day if we’re lucky. Highs will also trend much, much warmer in the upper 60s!
Of course, right after the holiday weekend the temperatures turn much warmer. We’ll be up around 80 again for Tuesday and Wednesday, Wednesday bringing the chance for a few showers…
