Red Cross helping 9 after Clinton Avenue fire

ALBANY, NY (WRGB) — Volunteers from the Northeastern New York Chapter of the American Red Cross provided immediate emergency aid to nine people after a fire Sunday afternoon on Clinton Avenue in the City of Albany.

The fire broke out on the 200 block of Clinton, in the Arbor Hill neighborhood.

The Red Cross provided financial assistance which can be used for necessities such as shelter, food, and clothing to two households, consisting of five adults and four children, ages 5, 8, 11, and 14. Volunteers also offered health services, comfort kits containing personal care items, blankets, and stuffed animals for the children…
