ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. — A couple of showers and storms fired off Tuesday morning in some far reaches of New Mexico and will expand more as the day goes on.
We’re still on track to see another favored chance of showers and storms from north-central to southwest New Mexico this afternoon and evening. This does include some central and most northwest/western areas.
The best coverage and chance for storms – up to 50% – will initially form early in the afternoon off the Sangre de Cristo Mountains and Jemez Mountains. An isolated, 30% chance is possible for the west-central mountains and around the Gila Mountains…
