ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. – The New Mexico Department of Health said a violence prevention program coordinator is out of a job less than two weeks after hiring him after supervisors became aware of his past.
It’s the second time Angel Garcia, a four-time felon and former gang member from California, had lost a job related to preventing violence.
