ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (KRQE) — As the cold starts to settle in, the City of Albuquerque Animal Welfare Department is asking for your help in keeping some canines cozy. The department is collecting new or gently-used, medium to large doghouses during its “Doghouse Drive.”
They’re also accepting custom-built doghouses. Donations can be dropped off at the eastside shelter on Lomas near Wyoming, or their westside shelter off 114th Street and Central.
For anyone without a dog house to donate, financial donations are also accepted. More information is online…
