ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (KRQE) – Albuquerque firefighters said they contained a fire before it could spread to the Bosque. AFR responded to a smoldering wood pile just before 5 p.m. on Wednesday in an area of the Bosque south of Avenida Dolores Huerta. No injuries were reported.

AFR said it’s likely the fire was rekindled from inside a pile of previously bucked logs.
