RRPS to craft recommendations on special ed audit

RIO RANCHO — Officials with Rio Rancho Public Schools are set to form a new team tasked with improving the special education department in response to a recent external audit.

Jerry Reeder, RRPS executive director of special services, said the 15-member group of administrators, teachers and special services staff will begin work in late April or early May and make recommendations in three phases over the course of several years.
