ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (KRQE) – Some brand-new food options made their debut at the Albuquerque International Sunport on Monday. The Sunport hosted a ribbon-cutting ceremony for the opening of local restaurants “Laguna Burger” and Frank’s Famous Chicken and Waffles.

Both restaurants were chosen not only to improve the traveling experience, but to highlight iconic New Mexico dining. “So we’re making sure that we’re having the offerings that the customers wanted. Secondly, we also are making sure that we honor our commitment to local businesses, and to showcase some of the very best of Albuquerque and New Mexico,” said Albuquerque Mayor Tim Keller.
