NEW MEXICO (KRQE) – Could it someday be possible to travel between Albuquerque and Las Cruces by train? New Mexico Department of Transportation (NMDOT) released its 20-year Rail Plan, which talks about the possibility of new passenger trains.
It would be a whole new way to travel up and down New Mexico. While a new passenger railway won’t happen anytime soon, transportation officials are thinking about what it would take, to make it a reality.
