RIO RANCHO — Rio Rancho Fire and Rescue and Sandoval County Fire Rescue responded to a house fire May 2 on the west side of Rio Rancho.
“Callers reported a fully engulfed residence on the west side of Rio Rancho, within an automatic aid district of Sandoval County,” a Facebook post by RRFR reads, creating what the post called a defensive incident.
“Crews initiated an exterior attack to contain the fire and protect nearby exposures. With limited water supply in the area, crews operated off water carried on apparatus while establishing tender operations,” it states…
