CORRALES — A swastika drawn on a wall at Corrales K-8 was reported last week, prompting an apology from the administration and an internal investigation.
Corrales K-8 on-site Administrator Craig Robinson sent a letter to families April 29 confirming the swastika, which was “about the size of a hand” and removed from an outside wall within 20 minutes of it being reported to the school.
The graffiti was first reported to the Observer in an anonymous email from a group of community members. Albuquerque Public Schools spokesperson Martin Salazar confirmed the swastika and provided Robinson’s statement to families the day of the incident…
