ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. – Albuquerque is adding pedestrian-activated flashing lights at crosswalks near three middle schools to help students cross busy streets safely.
The city said it has added flashing lights at Jackson Middle School on Indian School Road at Britt. The city said McKinley Middle School and Jimmy Carter Middle School will follow as crews become available and all work should finish by the end of May.
