A Sunday evening shooting in Southeast D.C.’s Shipley Terrace neighborhood left a man in critical condition after officers found him not breathing with multiple gunshot wounds. He was rushed to a trauma center for treatment, and authorities have not released his name or updated his condition.
According to WJLA, Metropolitan Police Department officers were called around 5:21 p.m. to the 2700 block of Shipley Terrace SE after reports of gunfire. When they arrived, they found the victim unresponsive with multiple gunshot wounds. Investigators said two male suspects, both wearing all-black clothing, were last seen leaving the area. No arrests have been announced.
