STERLING VA: (Rocktown Now) – A freeze warning has been issued for parts of Maryland, Virginia, and West Virginia, with forecasters urging residents to prepare for a sharp overnight temperature drop early Sunday.
The National Weather Service says temperatures could fall to around 30 degrees between 2 a.m. and 9 a.m. EDT Sunday, creating conditions cold enough to damage plants and exposed outdoor plumbing.
