Driver loses control, strikes 7 cars in Montgomery County shopping center crash

POTOMAC, Maryland — Police say three people were hurt after a crash in a Montgomery County shopping center over the weekend. Police and firefighters are still trying to figure out exactly what happened.

According to Pete Piringer, a spokesperson for Montgomery County Fire and Rescue Services, firefighters were called to the area of the Shake Shack in the Cabin John Village shopping center in Potomac for a report of a crash around 3 p.m. Sunday.

When crews got to the shopping center in the 7900 block of Tuckerman Lane, they learned that a driver had lost control of their vehicle and struck 7 other vehicles in the parking lot before flipping the Toyota on its side…
