PLYMOUTH — A Pottstown detective whose investigation of a single stabbing incident ultimately led to his uncovering a dangerous multi-county gun trafficking organization was recognized by Montgomery County’s district attorney for his exceptional service.
Detective Michael Damiano was presented a commendation by District Attorney Kevin R. Steele during a May 13 ceremony at the county’s Public Safety Training Campus in Plymouth Township.
“In addition to uncovering this gun trafficking organization, Detective Damiano was a key part of the investigative team, working tirelessly to track down evidence that ultimately dismantled this significant gun trafficking organization,” Steele told the crowd gathered for the commendation ceremony.
