PHILADELPHIA (KYW Newsradio) — A Florida man has been arrested in connection with a card skimming operation in Bristol Borough, Pennsylvania.
According to the Bucks County District Attorney’s Office, it all started on July 20 when 38-year-old Ionut Adrian Oprea and another man distracted staffers at the All Fresh store on Pond Street to put an electronic skimming device on a credit card reader keypad.
Oprea and the other man returned to the store on Aug. 20 for a second attempt, but were recognized by the workers. Oprea was detained in the store until police arrived, but the other man ran off…
