ATLANTA, Ga. (Atlanta News First) — Cherokee County Schools is now implementing $1,000 fines for drivers who are caught illegally passing school buses.
The school district recently installed cameras on school bus stop-arms in response to a rising number of drivers illegally passing buses that were dropping off or picking up students, according to the district.
