AMARILLO, Texas (KAMR/KCIT) — On Wednesday, Northwest Texas Healthcare System announced the appointment of Gina Temple, PhD, FACHE, as its new Chief Executive Officer.
According to NWTHS officials, Temple brings more than 15 years of healthcare leadership experience to the role, with a history of accelerating service-line development, improving clinical outcomes, and building robust physician collaborations. She most recently served as Chief Executive Officer for a major health system in Colorado Springs, Colorado.
The appointment marks a return to the state for Temple, who previously held multiple senior executive roles in Texas. Her background includes serving as a hospital CEO and Texas Group Chief Operating Officer in San Antonio.
