Police in Fullerton engaged in a standoff with an armed suspect at a strip mall on Sunday morning.
The Fullerton Police Department confirmed to KTLA that an armed man entered a business around 10:30 a.m. and refused to come out.
Fullerton officers responded to the business, located in the 110 block of Orangethorpe Avenue, and began attempting to get him to come out.
In an update issued early Sunday afternoon, the Fullerton Police Department said that West Orangethorpe Avenue was closed in both directions from South Harbor Boulevard to South Highland Avenue due to the police activity.
