An investigation is underway after a pedestrian was struck and killed by a train in Los Angeles County on Thursday morning.
“Today, at approximately 8:30 a.m., Whittier PD responded to a report of a traffic collision involving a train and a pedestrian in the city of Santa Fe Springs,” the Whittier Police Department posted on Instagram.
The unidentified victim was pronounced dead, police confirmed.
Authorities did not immediately release the victim’s identity, and details about the type of train involved were not available…
