JUNEAU, Alaska (KTUU) – A 53-year-old man died Saturday in Seattle from complications of a beating he suffered in a downtown Juneau parking garage.
While a grand jury had already indicted two in the case, the state is currently evaluating whether additional charges are appropriate following the death, according to the Alaska Department of Law.
Alfred Torres died nearly four weeks after he was found beaten and unconscious at the Marine Parking Garage on the night of April 6, 2026. He had been airlifted to Anchorage for emergency surgery and later transferred to Seattle.
