MONTGOMERY COUNTY, Md. (DC News Now) — A large tree fell down in Montgomery County on Wednesday, blocking a road and causing a power outage.
Units with the Montgomery County Fire and Rescue Service (MCFRS) responded to Goldsboro Road between MacArthur Boulevard and Massachusetts Avenue for a tree that fell, spokesperson Pete Piringer said in a post at 5:10 p.m.
Piringer said that the tree damaged utility poles in the area and downed wires.
