MARYLAND (DC News Now) — Maryland State Police responded to a crash on Interstate 95 on Friday morning.

Around 3 a.m., troopers responded to the northbound lanes of I-95, prior to Exit 64. The incident reportedly involved a tractor-trailer.
The preliminary investigation indicates that the tractor-trailer was trying to pull onto the right shoulder after getting a flat tire. A passenger vehicle approached at a high rate of speed and struck the rear of the tractor-trailer. The passenger of the vehicle was transported to a local hospital, where she was pronounced dead.
