40 people arrested following drug bust in Georgia

GEORGIA — The Atlanta Police Department announced that 40 people were arrested during a large-scale drug enforcement operation conducted April 18 in downtown Atlanta.

According to police, the operation—dubbed “Operation No Smoke”—was carried out with assistance from the Fulton County Sheriff’s Office at a warehouse located at 275 Ted Turner Drive SW. Authorities said the investigation began after receiving an anonymous tip and culminated in the execution of a search warrant at the site.

When officers arrived, they encountered more than 70 individuals gathered for what officials described as a pop-up event. The event had been widely anticipated, with more than 1,400 registered attendees expected, along with additional walk-up participants…
