The fleeing driver who crashed into pedestrians in DeKalb sent to county jail

DEKALB COUNTY, Ga. — A driver who crashed into two pedestrians in DeKalb County last week while fleeing law enforcement, killing a grandmother and injuring her teenage grandchild, is now in jail.

According to jail records, 18-year-old Joseph Odeh was booked in the DeKalb County Jail on Monday, charged with first-degree homicide by vehicle, serious injury by motor vehicle, fleeing/attempting to elude a police officer and three other counts.
