DENVER (KDVR) — Colorado saw some intense weather on Sunday, with people across the state capturing videos of heavy rain, hail and even a landspout.
Over the weekend, Denver saw heavy spurts of rain, but other areas across the state saw even more. FOX31 viewers captured conditions near them on Sunday, which included videos of hardly visible driving conditions, a hailstorm in Boulder and heavy rain and intense hail in Limon.
These Colorado areas could see an inch of rain
Hail and rain weren’t the only weather storms occurring in Colorado on Sunday. Around 2 p.m. to 3 p.m., the Pinpoint Weather team said there was a landspout in Aurora, near Interstate 70 and Tower Road.

According to the Pinpoint Weather team, a landspout is similar to a tornado, but landspouts originate near the ground and extend towards the clouds, while tornadoes start with rotating clouds and extend towards the ground. Landspouts tend to be less intense and less dangerous than tornadoes…
