BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KBAK/KBFX) — A high-speed California Highway Patrol pursuit ended in a crash on southbound Highway 99 near 7th Standard Road on Tuesday afternoon, according to CHP’s website.
Authorities said the suspect vehicle reached speeds of more than 110 miles per hour and drove through a highway closure before crashing and coming to rest on railroad tracks. Train traffic was temporarily stopped as crews responded.
The driver was found inside the vehicle, but the person’s condition has not been released…
