Guns and drugs found during probation search, one arrested

BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KBAK/KBFX) — A man was arrested after a probation search led officers to allegedly find guns and suspected drugs.

The Kern County Probation Department said on Thursday, April 28, 2026, officers assigned to the Kern County Probation Department’s Adult AB-109 Division, Post Release Community Supervision (PRCS) and Mandatory Supervision (MS) Units conducted a home call in the 500 block of El Tejon Avenue in Bakersfield.
