BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KGET) — School nurses were recognized at the Kern High School District Board of Trustees meeting Monday evening, including one who saved a student’s life at Frontier High School just last week.
On April 27, Jennifer Baldoni, a certified school nurse at Frontier High, responded to a student in distress.

The student was suffering a “critical cardiac event,” according to KHSD Superintendent Michael Zulfa.
