Kern County woman uses therapy dolls to give back to community that saved her

BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KGET) — A Kern County woman is using a unique form of therapy to give back to the community that helped save her life years ago.

Amber Fischer, 52, is the founder of a compassion group, Precious Moments, that uses baby dolls to change lives.

But they’re not your average baby dolls and they are nothing like the toys on a retail shelf. They are therapy dolls.
