‘Thank God for it All,’ a story of unwavering conviction by Dr. Cynthia Stephens

“From day one, when I entered into the world, I’ve been fighting,” Dr. Cynthia Stephens Ph.D.

BATON ROUGE, La. (WGNO) — Since the beginning of her time, she has had a testimony. From being born at only 3 lbs., to having three children of her own and holding multiple degrees, Dr. Cynthia Stephens has had a story to tell.

That story is embedded in the pages of her first ever book, “Thank God for it All.”

Stephens is a professor of Mass Communication at Southern University and A&M College in Baton Rouge. She is also a daughter, wife, mother, first lady of her church and a woman of many academic accolades.
