Old Mississippi River Bridge shut down on westbound side until Tuesday

BATON ROUGE, La. (WAFB) – Drivers hoping to go west on the Old Mississippi River Bridge in Baton Rouge will need to take a detour.

According to the Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development, the westbound side of the bridge will be closed from 7 p.m. on Friday, August 28, through noon on Tuesday, September 1. The I-110 South ramp connecting Harding Boulevard to US 190 West will also be shut down.
