Dozens of victims still searching for stolen items after storage unit break-ins in Baton Rouge

BATON ROUGE, La. (WAFB) – Dozens of people are still searching for their belongings after more than 20 storage units were broken into last month in Baton Rouge.

Police say two men, identified as Clifton Simmons and Matthew Abrams, are believed to be responsible for the burglaries at a storage facility on Old Hammond Highway. Both were arrested and charged.

Among the victims is Aaron Mumphrey, who says thousands of dollars’ worth of items were stolen from his unit, including belongings he says carried deep personal value…
