Hung Lo sushi roll from Tsunami-Highland

I don’t indulge in sushi cuisine very much, and usually don’t know what to order from such restaurants. Most of the time, I’m relatively indifferent to the rolls placed in front of me.

So when I ordered the Hung Lo from Tsunami, I was impressed and thoroughly enjoyed it. The roll has a lot going on — it’s packed with shrimp, cream cheese, cucumber, jalapeño, masago, seared tuna, snow crab mix, crispy onions, scallions, ponzu and sriracha.

I loved the creaminess from the snow crab and cream cheese, the freshness from the cucumbers and jalapeños, the crunch from the crispy onions and the heat from the siracha. The waiter told me it’s one of their most popular rolls. I see why…
