Woman who exited moving car on I-5 in Federal Way hit, killed by truck

FEDERAL WAY, Wash. — A woman was killed in a crash in Federal Way overnight that shut down several lanes of northbound Interstate 5, according to the Washington State Patrol (WSP).

Troopers said the victim was a 33-year-old Seattle woman who exited a car around 12:17 a.m. while it was still moving just south of South 272nd Street.

She was then hit by a pickup truck driven by a 40-year-old Tacoma man. He was not hurt…
