A rainy Tuesday morning collision on I-5 in Tacoma occurred after an involved driver had a medical episode, authorities say.
Washington State Patrol spokesperson Kameron Watts posted on social media at 9:51 a.m. Tuesday that a “1-car-semi-barrier” crash on the southbound section of highway near 56th Street sent one person to the hospital for “medical reasons aside from the collision.”
