The number of Red Lobster restaurants in Alabama is getting smaller, and the chain is eyeing underperforming restaurants for further downsizing, according to reports.
The Vestavia Hills Red Lobster at 1030 Montgomery Hwy., which was the oldest Alabama restaurant in the chain, closed Saturday. It opened in 1974.
