BIRMINGHAM, Ala. (WBMA) — A federal jury awarded $7.5 million in punitive damages to the family of Reginald Adams, an 18-year-old who died following a drowning incident at Riverchase Country Club in Birmingham in August 2023.
According to the law firm that represented the family, Tobias & Comer Law, the verdict was returned Wednesday, June 10, following a trial that started a week prior in the Robert S. Vance Federal Building.
