A national retailer that was approaching its 9-year anniversary of doing business at the Meadowbrook Mall has ceased operations.
Hibbett Sports, a Birmingham, Alabama-based athletic wear and sporting good store, is now blank storefront at the Bridgeport retail hub. The
closing took place as the company recently announced it would be shutting down 175 “underperforming stores,” according to multiple media reports.
As for the Bridgeport location, a call to corporate was not returned…
