Five people were arrested following a narcotics investigation that led to the execution of a search warrant at a residence in McCalla, according to the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office. Detectives with the Sheriff’s Office Vice and Narcotics Unit, working alongside the Sheriff’s Narcotics Enforcement Team and other specialized units, executed the warrant Friday, June 12, at a home in the 7000 block of Pocahontas Road. Authorities said the operation resulted in the arrests of five individuals on a variety of drug, firearm and failure-to-appear charges.
Tommy Dewayne Findley Jr., 44, was arrested on a felony failure-to-appear charge and remains in the Jefferson County Jail without bond.
